Introducing Mario Picosso, a Málaga-born, Amsterdam-based DJ. His journey into electronic music began in southern Spain, where breakbeat and drum and bass were his first influences.

As he started his DJ career, Mario explored various branches of techno, including the Birmingham sound and industrial techno from labels such as Downwards, Rodz-Konez, and Sonic Groove, which were pivotal in his early development.

A true music enthusiast, Mario continually seeks out new influences without limits. His style spans hypnotic sounds and breaks to IDM, braindance, and electro, reflecting key stages of electronic music in Europe, Chicago, and Detroit. This diverse approach enables him to offer audiences a varied selection of tracks, shaped by over a decade of experience.

In 2015, Mario founded Structured Collective in Málaga and later moved to Barcelona. There, he immersed himself in the local scene, became involved in the city’s rave and club culture, and established the Structured Records label. After eight years, the collective emerged as one of the most recognized names in Spain’s underground scene, providing a multidisciplinary platform for both emerging artists and established acts.

Today, Mario is based in Amsterdam, solidifying his place in one of Europe’s most prominent rave scenes. He has performed at clubs such as De School and Radion, and has participated in numerous raves.
